Kenya Lawton, who goes by the artist name Art1, is an airbrush artist with an inspiring passion for creating impactful murals and motivating young creatives. Born and raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, Art1 started his artistic journey at 15 years old. With over 30 years of experience in airbrushing, his portfolio includes works that have been featured in award shows, music videos, movies, and books, gaining widespread recognition and admiration. In 2022 Art1 was selected as the Muralist for the 1-800 Happy Birthday exhibition at WORTHLESSSTUDIOS, which consisted of a 12 foot tall by 32 foot wide mural of 13 portraits of Celebrants included in the project.
