PROGRAM MANAGER
Full-Time
The Program Manager plays a central role in planning, implementing, and supporting all WORTHLESSSTUDIOS’ programs, from our artist residencies to public art programs and exhibitions. Program Managers report directly to the Director of Programming. This is a dynamic position placing you in an active production role to help execute a seamless delivery of core programs while also being front-facing with the artists and communities WS supports.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate logistics for major programs: WARP, 1-800 Happy Birthday, etc.
Participate in planning and production of in-person programming events
Manage outreach and selection process for open calls
Liaise with artists, partners, and contractors to ensure smooth program delivery

Work with Development Team to support donor events and excursions (transportation, catering, RSVPs)
Schedule and coordinate visits and program-related travel
Track timelines and communicate proactively across teams
Work cross-functionally with Communications, Development, and Studio teams
Track program metrics and contribute to board and grant reporting
Assist with content collection for press, newsletters, and social media
QUALIFICATIONS
2-3 years of experience in arts programming, logistics, or project management
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Artist, art administration background, curating, any other related experience
Previous experience with museums, galleries or community centers
Previous experience with events and event staffing
Administrative experience
Friendly, mature demeanor
Responsible, timely
Deadline-driven: ability to multi-task and work well with changing priorities as required in start-up environment
Ability to multi-task and work independently
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
The Program Manager is a full-time, exempt position which may require work outside of traditional office hours. The salary range is $55,000 – $75,000, commensurate with experience. WS offers a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance; 401k account; cultural stipend; and generous paid vacation and sick leave.
