WARP APPLICATION PROCESS - SUMMER/FALL 2026

ELIGIBILITY CHECK

  • Applicants must be emerging artists with a demonstrated commitment to their practice in sculpture and other mediums.

  • Artists predominantly reside and work in New York City.

  • Artists must be over 18 years old.

  • The residency must provide a meaningful contribution to the artist’s professional development and career growth.

  • The artist’s approach to fabrication must be clearly defined and achievable within the program’s resources. 

  • The proposed sculpture must make full use of the resources provided by the program.

  • The proposal must demonstrate an understanding of the structural and logistical challenges inherent in large-scale sculpture.

  • The artist’s work must reflect a curiosity and willingness to engage with complex fabrication processes.

  • The artist must have the necessary background, skills, and readiness to work within UAP’s foundry setting.

  • The artist’s portfolio and experience must align with our definition of an emerging artist.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE

  • The application portal opens on OCT 1, 2025

  • Applications are due BEFORE FEB 1, 2026
