Join us on March 14, 2026 at the Alice Austen House for an open studio with Helena Goñi at the opening of Staten Island’s 4th Triennial of Photography, Resilient Communities. 

Our first Photographer in Residence of 2026, Helena Goñi, will host an open studio in the Airstream darkroom during the Triennial Opening. Come by to walk through the space and see recent developments in her work. 

The Alice Austen House Triennial of Photography is a juried exhibition highlighting mid-career photographers. This year, Resilient Communities, will feature work on underrepresented communities and foster dialogue around resilience, identity, and perseverance.
